Tulsi, Oat Straw & Orange Peel Tea Recipe
This tulsi oat straw tea recipe is a simple, nourishing blend for afternoon calm and gentle motivation.
Welcome to the Tea Nook. A small monthly pause for steeping, breathing, and tending ourselves.
What this tea supports
This tea supports the nervous system, immune system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system and more. It is nourishing and steadying, with a bright citrus lift.
Ingredients
- Oat Straw
- Tulsi aka Holy Basil
- Orange – a bit of peel in the steep and as a finisher
How I make it
I steep dried tulsi and oat straw with orange peel for about 8 minutes in hot water. After straining, I add a touch of fresh orange zest to wake it all up. So yummy.
When I drink this
I love this tea in the afternoon, right when energy dips and the nervous system asks for a little kindness.
Oat straw offers deep mineral support, tulsi helps calm stress and lift the spirit, and orange peel brings warmth, vitamin C, and a spark of joy. A simple ritual for grounding, hydration, and gentle motivation.
That’s it. No overthinking. No specific measuring.
