Rainbow Rollers Roll Out & Giveaway

Concocting essential oil blends for/with people, is a favorite hobby of mine. These 6 Rainbow Rollers make up the official ‘Coming Up Rainbows’ set.

They cover most of the bases… sure, not all of them. I’m not certain covering all bases is possible in this world.

Using a blend, is the perfect way to get the most bang for your buck. What are blends? They are combinations of essential oils mixed and diluted with a carrier oil. What is a carrier oil? It is a base oil used to dilute/mix essential oils before they are applied to the skin in massage and aromatherapy.

I’m not a doctor, or medical professional – consider that my disclaimer. I would also like to mention that essential oils are very concentrated, so please do your research before you use them on yourself. Now teach yourself about plants, you won’t regret it!

Let’s take this rainbow down the line, in alphabetical order.

The Achy Roller was inspired by something I concocted, prior to a 100 mile bike ride, last fall, with some of my favorite ladies.

The ride took us across chunks of the land that burned in the fires of 1910, and was inspired by this book, that we read in advance. I called it the ‘Big Burn Blend’ – it seemed fitting for the strenuous ride – double entendre. The Achy Roller is a blend of lavender, peppermint, cypress, marjoram, basil, clove, copaiba, lemongrass, coconut oil and love.

Side note: You can get these blends in our rainbow shop. One of my favorite parts, of the rainbow shop, are the labels on our products. My rad kiddos are the inspiration, I use their art, modified slightly (sometimes old – sometimes new). This particular piece was borrowed from an oil pastel piece by Simon (my big kid), who just turned 13 a few days ago. The original lives in my sewing room (Where’s Waldo?), with a lot of other treasures.

The Belly Roller – for your guts – is made up of cardamom, copaiba, fennel, nutmeg, mint, ginger, lemon, coriander, coconut oil and love.

Breathy Roller – for your air – is a mix of eucalyptus, pine, ravintsara, frankincense, spearmint, hinoki, melaleuca, coconut oil and love.

This one is my favorite. The Happy Roller is a citrus extravaganza. It makes the best birthday gift! If you like citrus this bergamot, tangerine, grapefruit, lavender, lime, frankincense, coconut oil and love blend, will also be your favorite.

Onto the Healthy Roller – for your health – inspired by Dr. Steve Brule. If you don’t know who that is, I recommend you look into it. This blend consists of clove, rosemary, geranium, lemon, oregano, cinnamon bark, coconut oil and love.

Finally, the Sleepy Roller blends vetiver, bergamot, lavender, cedarwood, frankincense, coconut oil and love.

All of these rollers are $12 a piece, but you can get them at a discount, two rollers are $23, and the entire rainbow set is $66.
