Thieves Oil – May

I just wanted to start off by saying, if you’d like to be removed from this list, please please don’t think you’ll hurt my feelings by letting me know. I was going to talk about Peppermint Oil this month ($25.99 Retail and $19.75 Wholesale) but in lieu of the current spreading Swine Flu I figured I would let you in a few tips and uses for Thieves Essential Oil ($41.78 Retail and $31.75 Wholesale). This particular oil is an oil that I will never run out of again. I always have at least one backup bottle on hand. It has been – by far – the most life changing oil for our family. It is an anti-viral and anti-bacterial oil and something that I wish everyone I knew had. I don’t mean to sound dramatic, but it is an oil that can protect you from things such as the swine flu. A bottle of it lasts in our house for about 3 months. That is using it on all of us nearly everyday (and when we are sick we use it several times a day). It is an oil that I put on Simon before he goes to school and Gus before we spend the day at the store.
The way it got its name is pretty interesting…I’m just going to cut and paste to keep it simple…

/May is dedicated to the awesome germ-fighting power of Thieves®! Not just for winter use, Thieves is the perfect product to keep you protected whether you’re traveling, shopping, at school, or at home./

/Young Living’s Thieves essential oil blend was created based on the legendary account of four thieves in France who protected themselves from the Black Plague with cloves, cinnamon, rosemary, and other aromatics while robbing victims of the killer disease. When captured, they were offered a lighter sentence in exchange for their secret recipe./

/Thieves contains Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ clove, cinnamon bark, rosemary, lemon, and Eucalyptus radiata essential oils specifically blended to offer the same natural defense experienced by those four thieves. This oil blend harnesses the immune-enhancing properties of clove and germ-fighting elements of Eucalyptus radiata, and has been university tested and found to be effective against airborne bacteria. You can diffuse it, apply it topically, or ingest Thieves as a dietary supplement to experience the health-enhancing benefits./

There are other awesome Thieves products, if you’ve been to my house or store…you’ve probably used the foaming hand soap that I order every month. And then there is the hand sanitizer, dental products and household cleaner. So I could go on and on, but I know once you get the chance to try it, I won’t need to. I’m attaching a link to 101 uses for Thieves, you can also just do a google search to find other sites that have uses listed. http://www.younglivingsuccess.com/2009/02/101-uses-for-thieves-oil.html This is just one I found quickly, so I don’t have to type them out. If you’re feeling like learning a whole bunch read this list!

We’ve had a much more healthy fall, winter and spring than last year using Thieves as frequently as we do. It has been nice. Simon hasn’t missed hardly any school whereas last year I was wondering why I was paying for it because he seemed to rarely be there.

As usual please let me know if you’d like to host a party, or if you’d like more information about anything! Also my order goes through on Wednesday, so let me know if you need/want anything by then, if you aren’t set up to order on your own or would rather not order something on your own.

Also we’re tentatively planning the next oil discussion group for May 21st at 6 PM again. Please let me know if you’d like to come and would like us to try and provide some childcare. We’ve got a couple of people that have offered to help us out with that and we could meet in front of the store while the kids play back in the play area.

Stay Healthy and Happy this month!

xo,
Erika
